TLP 231 Ejection Seats, Flame Throwers & Tactical SH*T!

Thanks for 5 years of the best Lead-Head-Talk and excitement anywhere around!  2018 is Talking Lead’s 5th year anniversary and we are keeping the 2A information, fun & shenanigans coming like never before.

This episode kicks off our coverage of the 2018 SHOT Show.  Kel-Tec was the Official Leadquarters this year and they did not disappoint!  Chad Enos joined Lefty as special guest host and together they are bringing you, the Lead Head Brigade, hours of exciting, informative & exclusive interviews from this years 40th Anniversary SHOT Show.

The ION Productions Team & Tactical Rx

First up, our guests are The Ion Productions Team to tell us about the world’s first commercially available handheld flamethrower, the XM42-M!  Founded in 2004 IPT is a small company in metro Phoenix, Arizona that focuses on bringing exciting and unique products to the world.  Chris Beyers talks about this innovative company and the impact the XM42 has had on the pop-culture scene.  You may have seen Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson using it in Jumanji  Also joining us this round is Bret Hunter with Tactical Rx.  Chad’s world is drastically improved as Brett introduces him to prescription shooting glasses.

Lucky Shot USA

Our second interview is one of my favorites this year.  I love innovation and I love history, Lucky Shot USA brings both of these criteria to the table, pun intended.  Lynn & Brook tell us about Lucky Shot’s unique concept in drinkware, glassware and leisure accessories.  Doug Ingalls, the owner, collects military antiques and is inspired by Trench Art from the WWI, WWII, Korean & Vietnam Wars to recreate these historical items from real repurposed war artifacts.  Their bomb tables are a must for every man-cave!  Also check out their Stuck In Glass website for other genre themed glassware and items!  Lefty has a few ideas of his own.

Tactical Sh*t & the American Hunting Challenge

Our third interview this episode gets ramped up a few hundred notches when good friend and fellow Lead Head Nick Atkinson rolls in with, none other than, the creator of Tactial SH*T himself TJ Kirgin. TJ tells us about how he came up with the name Tactical SH*T for his company, of course there was a beer or three involved.  He shares the ironic but hilarious story behind the TS logo, made with liberal tears.  TJ announces a new internet based 2A friendly “YouTube-like” network called TacticalShit.TV coming soon!  Join Tj and some other #badasseryness type dudes on an upcoming aerial hog hunt in texas click here to find out how!

Speaking of hunting and new shows, Nick makes the huge announcement for our upcoming hunting competition series, American Hunting ChallengeKalani Laker, Nick Atkinson and yours truly, Lefty, will be kicking off this 3-hunt-6-episode series later this year.  In a nutshell, two professional hunters (Kalani & Nick) will each be paired with an amateur outdoorspreson. The two teams will compete against one another for points during special hunts.  The winning amateur gets to take the losing professional’s gear…all of it!
