TLP 403 – Guns and Video Games

In this week’s episode of the Talking Lead Podcast we talk about the processes a firearm goes through to end up in your favorite First Shooter Video games. Chris Deeb, Product Placement Specialist, with Leviathan Group joins Lefty. Also joining in on the conversation is frequent special guest and friend of the show, Nick Atkinson. Chris talks about the different ways in which these companies try to virtually mimic real world firearms from their looks, to their sounds, to the felt recoil to the accessories. Nick offers his expert opinion based on his many years of firearms experience both from Law Enforcement and Professional Competition Shooting. We also discuss the hypocrisy of the Video Game Industry and, for your entertainment, Nick brings up one of the most popular first person shooter games and runs through some gun examples.
Before we get into the meat and potatoes of the show the Gunny brings in the Talking Lead Jackwagon Train for us to load up with several overdue boneheads. The Talking Lead Lead Force One zooms in to give a ride to some very deserving Lead Head Brigade Heroes. Leaducational, fun and entertaining as always!
