I just listened to episode 52 & in the portion where Paul was defending the right to own guns vs registration. He used the example argument of “well you have to register your car”. I have actually had this very same conversation with other “antis” & have the perfect response that I thought I would share with you.
When poised with any “common sense” registration requests ask the querier “Do you have to register to exercise your freedom of speech?” They will give you a dumbfounded look but press the issue “How about your freedom from unwarranted search & seizure? Tell you what, name for me ONE of you constitutionally protected freedoms that you need to register to exercise”. And wait for there answer.
The truth becomes self evident to them & “Common sense” not longer looks so common..
