    Hello guys,

Over the last 2 weeks, two incidents in Sydney Australia demonstrated a new level of dangers of leaving your home.

Woman charged over road rage scissors stabbing

    • the woman and a 26-year-old man had argued over who had the right to a parking space on Haldon Street in Lakemba just before 2.30pm
    • A short time later the man was driving south along Croydon Street, which runs parallel to Haldon Street, when his car was allegedly bumped from behind by a white Honda Civic
    • witnesses told police the Civic turned around and blocked his car, and the woman got out of her vehicle
    • Police allege the woman slapped the man through the open window of his car before assaulting him with a pair of scissors.
    • She was charged and granted conditional bail

Five teenagers charged over brutal assault in Chipping Norton

    • Just after midnight on Tuesday, September 2, a group of three men and two women were walking west along Boolarong Ave, Chipping Norton, when they were approached by a group allegedly armed with metal batons and baseball bats.
    • During the alleged assault James Rajasuriar, 22, was reportedly knocked unconscious by a blow to the back of the head with a bat or baton and beaten while on the ground. Mr Rajasuriar also sustained abdominal injuries and fractured ribs. He was taken to Liverpool Hospital where he remains in an induced coma and in a critical condition.
    • The 18-year-old was granted conditional bail to appear in Liverpool Court on Tuesday, September 9, and the 17-year-olds will appear in a children’s court on Monday, September 8.

I have specifically included the info that in both cases, the perpetrators are out on bail while the victims are either still in a coma or getting their wounds seen to.

It seems the ‘pee yourself’ defense may not longer be enough.
